Job Vacancy: Safeguarding Officer (Malawi)

This is an exciting opportunity for any individuals interested in gaining the ajar of contributing towards safeguarding the dawah efforts in Malawi with the potential of expanding focus across iERA Africa Teams.
We’re actively looking for an Independent Safeguarding Advisor to support the implementation of iERA’s Safeguarding policy and procedures in Malawi. By providing expert advice, capacity building and support to iERA staff and partners, this role will enable the team to proactively identify and mitigate risks and ensure that safety measures are built in from design through to delivery of iERA Services.
iERA is a dawah organisation committed to sharing the message of Islam with compassion, intelligence and mercy and encouraging societal understanding. Through our exhibitions, courses. materials, workshops and community work we seek to create a better understanding of the true religion of Islam. All our activities are offered free of charge as our donors contribute towards the communities we work in and we are passionate about sharing this beautiful way of life with the wider community.
We are particularly interested in applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate previous experience of implementing safeguarding models in local settings to ensure effective and timely responses are in place to mitigate potential risks related to safeguarding.
