Yusuf Chambers, trustee of the Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA) was in attendance at the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum, held under the patronage of
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, from 28-30 October 2014 at Madinat Jumeirah Conference Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.1
Mr Chambers spent his time at the forum attending the thought-provoking discussions and meeting various dignitaries and experts from the global economic arena, including the current Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mohammad Najib Abdul Razak and senior CEO’s of various Islamic organisations.
Mr Chambers was able to deliver a short presentation about iERA. He engaged in a number of positive discussions with non-Muslim delegates, increasing an awareness of Islam by highlighting the link between Islamic values and the purpose of the forum.
