On Sunday 13th September 2015, the Islamic Education and Research Academy’s (iERA) One Community department led a groundbreaking national “Neighbourhood Cleanup” campaign across the UK. iERA’s newest department hopes to have a lasting impact by clearing the mess caused by fly tipping and anti-social behaviour across the UK.
British Muslims must strive to make their local areas a pleasant environment for people of all faiths and none to live in.
We had teams of volunteers in Newcastle upon Tyne, Stockton, Huddersfield, Bradford, Leicester, Birmingham, East Ham, Wembley and in Tower Hamlets.
