Every Christmas, iERA aim to invite people to learn more about and explore the life of one of greatest Prophets – Jesus. This year, iERA created a Jesus Exhibition that takes people on a journey through the life and teachings of Jesus.
To launch the exhibition, iERA set up in Friends House, directly opposite one of London’s busiest transport hubs, Euston Station. The evening prior the UK experienced sub-zero temperatures, resulting in a soft white blanket of snow, setting a perfect setting for the Jesus exhibition.
The day began early for the iERA team, setting up the mesmerising pull-up banners, showing the entire life of Jesus peace be upon him as mentioned in the Qur’an; beginning with his Birth and ending with the Second Coming. The banners were designed in a manner to take people on an unforgettable journey throughout the life of one of the greatest men to have ever existed. The pop-up banners enshrouded the outer walls of the room and two centrepieces took up occupancy in the middle of the room, a table full of iERA’s Dawah materials and another table which housed our Qur’an booth.
Once the doors opened, we received a constant stream of visitors throughout the day, all of whom were welcomed by one of our volunteers and served refreshments. The visitors would make their way around the room studying the banners learning about the life of Jesus and then come to the Qur’an booth, where they were able to take a seat, and immerse themselves listening to the Qur’an with headphones. Listening to the Qur’an seemed to really capture the visitors. A female visitor, Joanne, from a Christian background retorted that it was an eye-opening experience and she loved the fact that it was about Jesus. She also retorted that was really moved by the recitation of the Quran.
Don’t let the weather get you down, our officers haven’t!

Margaret, a middle-aged lady, exclaimed she had never known Muslims believing in Jesus also and utterly shocked to discover this fact so late in life. Throughout the day, iERA held several short reminders on the life of Jesus peace be upon him, which were extremely beneficial for the attendees. Finally, the guests were given a little gift bag, with a selection of materials, including iERA’s new book – Jesus, Man, Messenger, Messiah for them to take home with them.
Following the success of this event, iERA are now rolling this out all over the globe. To have this exhibition in your area, simply get in touch via iera.org/request.
