iERA Milestone: 10th New Muslim Retreat

On Friday 26th August 2016, iERA celebrated its 10th retreat for new Muslims.

iERA’s four-day educational retreats aim to empower new Muslim attendees from across the world to grow and build a deeper connection with Allah (ﷻ).

After 10 hours of direct classroom teaching with a qualified instructor, and 7 hours of interactive workshops plus 5 hours of practical salaah workshops, every attendee returned home spiritually enlightened. They also had detailed course notes that they will be able to refer to for years to come.

40 new Muslims attended our 10th anniversary retreat this August 2016, enabling iERA to achieve a milestone of helping almost 500 new Muslims graduate through iERA’s educational retreat programme since they began.

Many are now practicing Islam more fully in their lives and they regularly volunteer to help other new Muslims benefit from the same experience.

“I can honestly say this retreat has changed my life…you all had individual qualities that I earned from while being in this brotherhood.” – Justin Tindall

“My main aim was to learn salaah. Everything I learnt previously was from YouTube and I was unsure whether I was doing it correctly…The prayer workshops were excellent and favourite part of the day.” – Khimara

“I hope [the retreat] continues in the future to help more Muslims with Islam” – Alison Walker

“If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect.”
